Mr. Josh Davis Named Principal of Rock Springs Elementary

Mr. Josh Davis has been named principal of Rock Springs Elementary School.  Prior to accepting his position as principal, Mr. Davis had most recently served as an assistant principal at Sullivan Central High School.  He has also previously served as an instructional coach and elementary classroom teacher.

 

"Josh Davis did a terrific job at Sullivan Central High School last year," said Dr. Jubal Yennie.  "He demonstrated the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.   I am impressed with his passion for education and his knowledge of teaching and learning.  Mr. Davis will continue the strong tradition of excellence in the Rock Springs community."

 

Mr. Davis has a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood and a Master's Degree in Education with an Administrative endorsement from East Tennessee State University.  He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from ETSU.

 

"It is very humbling to have been chosen to join the Rock Springs Elementary School family," said Davis.  "The Rock Springs community has a rich tradition of educational excellence.  I look forward to serving the families of Rock Springs and working with a very talented faculty and staff."
