September, 2012
|
Greetings my friends,
The leaves are changing, decorating our days with a brilliant red, yellow & orange mix of transition. It's safe to say, Autumn has arrived. And in the spirit of FUN, family and fellowship, we welcome you to join us as we kick off the season at our Pancake Pajama breakfast this Saturday, September 29th at the MISD. As we venture into the 4th quarter of 2012, PAC has a full agenda on tap with our primary order of business being to secure a permanent home for the center. We are currently in negotiations for an ideal location and ask that you keep your fingers crossed and whisper into GOD's ear for a triumphant and speedy deal.
We've settled into a productive groove of grant-writing, networking, community awareness and creative energy and are very excited about the upcoming months. As we diligently prepare to move forward, PAC would like to thank you for your continued support!

PAC Partners with NAPA & Community Auto Care Coalition s
We are proud to announce our newly formed partnership with NAPA and the NE Michigan BDG groups as PAC's official community sponsors. This means 24 Auto Care Centers throughout Oakland & Macomb Counties along with 7 NAPA Stores will be involved in helping raise money towards PAC's mission to develop a center to benefit families affected by autism and other special needs challenges. A special THANK YOU to Damian Sharbowski (Damian's Auto Service) for his initiative and presentation to the NAPA company which spearheaded this wonderful collaboration. In the words of Dan Deboer, NAPA Detroit's District Manager, "This is such a great cause. I am very excited to be a part of this." Fundraising promotions start on October 1st and entail with each customer donation a free set of wiper blades, plus NAPA and the Auto Care Center will "match" your charitable contribution multiplying your gift to PAC times three, making it go further. We are immensely THANKFUL and ecstatic to be involved with such a great group of people who have committed themselves to our cause and urge you as parents, family and friends to visit participating stores for all your auto care needs. Stay tuned for store listings. |
