Season's Greetings,

 

We enjoyed working with all of our publishing and advertising partners this year, and greatly look forward to continuing the partnerships through 2013.

 

Despite what some are saying, we are confident that the world will not end on December 21st. The future of digital advertising appears to be bright, and we are particularly excited about the prospects of video advertising. Ideas People TV has proven to be a strong platform for brand advertisers to tell their story. According to a Nielsen IAG study, Online Video surpasses TV in terms of recall and likeability. And, eMarketer predicts that Online Video ad spending will grow 35% vs. 12% for all online advertising in 2013.

 

Ideas People are heavy consumers of online video, with a particular affinity for business, technology, politics/public affairs, and news content. But the videos they are consuming across our portfolio aren't just providing entertainment. They are helping our audience to form their opinions and make critical decisions that impact others.  

 

  

For the month of October, there were 5.6 million unique viewers across our network, and we expect steady growth. Taking the video experience a step further, we have the ability to create skins, video walls, and other dynamic ad units that help to draw our influential audience in.

 

This holiday season, take a break from thinking about the media business and enjoy some eggnog or hot cocoa with your family. I promise you it will all still be here when you return.
