Health and Human Services Hearing Set for SENATE BILL 7
The hearing will be held Tuesday, April 30th by the House Human Services Committee in room E2.030 of the Capitol Extension beginning at 10:30 am or upon adjournment of the House. It's not too late to express your concerns about how the proposed legislation will affect the services your loved one receives from Reach.
Please refer to the link below for the outline of concerns expressed at our last parent meeting. Included is the HHS committee contact information. Besides the committee members, please contact your own representative in your district. They need and want to hear from you. Services are changing and we must have a say in how that happens.

LAC Group weekly re-cap and a look ahead at next week...

Here's what happened this week...
- Social Skills class reviewed expectable and unacceptable public behavior. Content was presented through role play and in group discussions.
- Each group did a GREAT job with their Earth Day projects! Be sure to visit Reach's Facebook Page to see some of the presentations. We guaranty you will be impressed!
We are excited about what there is to learn next week!
- In computer class, instructors will cover the basic parts of a computer and its function. The instructor's goal is to teach them what happens when you input information in various programs and the importance of each component.

All jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, and other outerwear that have no names on them have been moved to the front hall for families/providers to claim. We will leave those items for review/claim through Friday, April 26th. After that date the items will be donated to Cypress Assistance Ministries. Thank You! |

Kendra Turner does an outstanding job as the Learning Activity Center Documentation Specialist. She is a dependable employee and demonstrates pride in her work. Kendra is punctual and takes the initiative when needed as floor support. She has built a positive rapport and relationship with the clients and her co-workers. Kendra displays professionalism at all times and adheres to Reach Unlimited policies and procedures.
