Chaplain Ron Crawford Faithfully Ministers to the Backside

Chaplain Ron Crawford of Kentucky Race Track Chaplaincy, Ellis Park, faithfully ministers God's word to workers on the backside of the race track, bringing men and women to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Carol Sallee Enriches the Spirits of RTCA Women at the 2013 Chaplain School

Carol Sallee will be a guest speaker during RTCA's Chaplain School's Womens Session on April 5, 2013.
Carol is an inspirational speaker and writer who speaks across the United States and writes for numerous Christian publications. She is a pastor's wife and the Director of Women's Ministries at New Beginnings in Bixby, Oklahoma, where she serves along side her husband, Phil, who has been Senior Pastor for 18 years. Phil and Carol are privileged to be parents of three grown children: Julie (married to Kyle), Jill (married to Brian), and Josh. Carol admits she is addicted to Sketchers tennis shoes, reality television, and Dove chocolate. Her idea of a great evening involves a blockbuster movie and Mexican food.
Carol's speaking style is full of humor, enthusiasm, and a passion for God's word. Her focus as a communicator is to encourage Christians to know Christ, to grow in Christ, and to echo His hear to the world.

Successful Regional Meeting held by Region 7 at Philadelphia Park
On March 5, 2013, Chaplain Rick Bunker of RTCA. Pennsylvania Division, hosted a successful RTCA regional meeting for Region 7 at Philadelphia Park, PA. Chaplains and representatives from Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware were on hand for this one-day meeting. New immigration laws by Horseman's Solution Immigration Law Firm, a good round table discussion, and a great message from Peter Lizarzaburu were enjoyed by all attendees. |
Chaplain Dar Howard Delivers Message at AQHA National Meeting
Race Track Chaplain Dar Howard, delivered a message at the 2013 annual American Quarter Horse Association national meeting held in Houston, Texas. Dar Howard, an approved Chaplain with RTCA, has deep roots in horses and the training of horses. Recently, while serving on temporary assignment as a Chaplain in Texas, Dar was asked to conduct the Sunday morning chapel service for attendees at the AQHA annual meeting. On short notice he jumped into action and brought a blessed service and stirring message to the 6:30 AM group of the faithful. One member who attended the service, said, "In all the years I have been a member of AQHA and coming to this early morning service, I have never been moved so deeply by the spiritual inspiration that Chaplain Howard brought to my life and the others who attended this service."

In Memoriam

George "Alan" Speakman
George "Alan" Speakman, 80, went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2013, in Jonestown, PA. He was born in Philadelphia on February 12, 1932 to the late Jesse Alan and Marie (Ravior) Speakman. He was a graduate of Doylestown High School and West Chester State College, where he met his future wife.
Alan was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He taught and coached in the Council Rock School District for 33 years having many champion baseball teams before his retirement in 1989. He loved to travel with his wife and spend time with his family. These loves were second only to his love for the Lord.
Alan is the father of Sue Dow who is the wife of Chaplain David Dow of Central Pennsylvania Race Track Chaplaincy of America.
