RTCA Affiliation - Joined Together in Common Purpose
by RTCA Executive Director Craig N. Wiley
United in a common bond, Race Track Chaplaincy Councils across the United States, in affiliation with the National Service Center show the oneness of purpose for Race Track Chaplaincy of America (RTCA). From New York to California and from Michigan to Florida, our teams of affiliated Chaplains and Councils provide outstanding ministry to horsemen and women who toil daily on our race tracks across America.
Affiliation with Race Track Chaplaincy of America offers several key benefits:
1. Chaplain recruiting, screening, approval, and assistance with placement
2. Chaplain education and development
3. Council funding for education, evangelism, meetings, and women's ministry
4. A Council Manual to assist with operational policies and procedures
5. A Benevolence fund to assist Chaplains of Affiliated Councils
6. Unified and professional representation to the horse racing industry
7. Communication in a variety of ways to keep our Affiliated Councils and Chaplains informed
8. Opportunity to recommend ministries in the horse industry for financial support and deserving individuals for the White Horse Award
9. Special Risk Accident Insurance (accidental death & dismemberment) for all affiliated RTCA Chaplains & Council Presidents.
These benefits are only available to our affiliated Councils and their Chaplains. We welcome any race track Chaplaincy program who is not affiliated with RTCA to contact us to discuss the benefits of affiliation. I can be reached at cwiley@rtcanational.org or call 859-410-7822. I look forward to hearing from you.
Together, we are One Team, One Mission, called to serve all those who are involved in the horse racing industry, based on the belief that it is God's desire that every person, including those in the horse racing industry, should have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, resulting in a life that is full and abundant in its nature and eternal in its scope.
