Spotlight on Nick & Rose Salios - 35 Year of Service to RTCA
 | Nick & Rose Salios |
Their journey in race track ministry began at a time when a chaplain was out of place on a racetrack. That is until a young horseman, Salty Roberts, and his wife, Dallas, became known to Nick & Rose as they came from the south and arrived in the north to serve summer meets at local tracks.
Out of their own life changing experiences, the movement for chaplaincies on race tracks began in the south and moved north to New Jersey. It was here, from 1977 to 1980, that Nick Salios, pastor, military chaplain, was enlisted by Tri-State Council to assist with two tracks: Atlantic City and Monmouth Park.

Please pray that God will direct the Chaplaincy School Committee as to what God desires to take place, and that the classes and the fellowship will uplift all who attend.

Happy Thanksgiving from Chaplain Craig N. Wiley, Executive Director
My favorite artist is Norman Rockwell. I marvel at his ability to paint in such a
true-to-life way, his paintings are so realistic. This painting of a Thanksgiving dinner shows the joy on the faces of a family, young and old, eager to partake of a bountiful meal. When you take a closer
look at his picture you can see that everyone is engaged in joyful celebration.
Thanksgiving is meant to be a time of joy and peace and togetherness and thankfulness for all that God has provided not only on Thanksgiving day, but every day. Even when our days are less bountiful, God is here taking care of our needs and providing us with our daily bread.
God has given us a gift of 86,400 seconds today, let's use one to say "thank you".... William Arthur Ward
Thank you RTCA family for all you do every day to bring God's love and grace to our Racetrack communities. Jean and I ask God to bless you and your families with a Happy Thanksgiving.
