The first quarter of 2013 has been an eventful one for the North Port Economic Development Corporation.

Membership is now 50 and growing
The Star supporter program was announced and twelve members have stepped up to become the first Star supporters
Newsletter subscribers has grown to 226
Annual meeting had 131 registrations
13 articles have been written about our work
Multiple radio interviews have occurred
The ACTION Initiatives/Vision were launched on January 25
Community presentations on the ACTION Initiatives/Vision have begun
We launched the ACTION Initiatives/Vision survey
We participated in the North Port Newcomers Day

And these are just the highlights.

Annual Meeting

Thanks to everyone who attended our first annual meeting on March 19. With a packed house (131 people registered), it became very clear that the North Port Economic Development Corporation is an organization with a vision that is embraced by the area's movers and shakers.
