PTO News

The AIS Facebook Group is the unofficial hub of PTO chatter, and it's bustling! Join up and get in on the conversation.

Bread and Pastry Extravaganza
The PTO will be back this Friday after school with the bread and pastry for sale.  As usual we will have baguettes, pains au chocolat and croissants for $3 each.

Do you have time to help the PTO with this project by picking up our baked goods?  This can be a one time pick-up or as often as you like.  Each Friday a volunteer travels to the Artisan Bistro in Lakeway to pick up the delicious baked goods we offer for sale each Friday.  It's a great place to enjoy lunch (or dinner some time!).  Please sign up here with Sign Up Genius if you are willing to help out.

Thank yous
A big THANKS! to Amelia Despre for taking over the Community Service Committee. She's already working on coordinating with Keep Austin Beautiful to clean up Balcones Community Park. That will happen in April so keep a lookout for the call for volunteers for that.

Another big THANKS! to Gina Helsel who will be coordinating snacks for the teachers and staff next week during the Parent-Teacher Conferences.  The PTO is happy to sponsor this small token of appreciation for those working so hard for our kids, but this is another thing that doesn't happen with out volunteers.

Thank you Amelia and Gina!
