Austin International School
January 8, 2014

Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a truly relaxing break. We're looking forward to
a variety of social and academic events coming up this semester and we hope you'll be able to join us for one or all of them. What better way for our website to celebrate the new year than with a spruced up home page to better share with you our news, pictures and events. Please check it out when you have a moment.

Our most anticipated event of the semester is our 3rd Annual Spring Gala coming up
on Saturday, February 8. Bring your family and friends together for a Pioneer or Innovator table, or buy an individual Explorer ticket and enjoy your night with a beautiful view of downtown Austin from The Headliner's Club!

There will be student art up for grabs during our fast and fun live auction, dinner, drinks, live music from The Vendetta Big Band, a grand raffle prize, and an amazing array of silent auction items that include AIS parent-hosted dinner parties, kids adventure outings, gift certificates and much more. It's an elegant, festive and incredibly enjoyable event that we hope everyone will join us for. Please view our event page online and order your tickets soon! You may also pay by check by returning your invitation reply card by mail or in person to the school.
Kindergarten students work on their gala project inspired by Clara Halter's "Le mur pour la paix" currently on display in Paris's Champs de mars.
