Let's Stay in Touch!
We know you can't be everywhere at once, which is why we provide a lot of ways to stay informed on school activities. This newsletter is sent on Wednesdays and anyone is welcome to receive it, such as nannies and grandparents, using the links included at the bottom of this email.
Each student has a parent folder at the front desk, so please check it regularly. AIS administration, teachers, PTO and other parents may leave something for you. Each family also has an individual account with the AIS website; accounts for returning families remain the same, and new families will receive their log in information tomorrow via email.
Bulletin boards in the reception hallway and the multipurpose room will display newsletters, photos, sign up sheets and other notices.
We will also soon be installing a message center outdoors near the playground pickup area, and a t.v. in the reception. Looking for our Twitter feed? That's coming soon too.

School forms are now due back to administration. Wellness forms are required annually. If your child's form has not yet been updated, please turn a new one in to either Hilary Routon or William. We also require prompt submission of any updates to immunization records. Handbook receipts are also due; please leave with the receptionist. Extracurricular Activities
We are still accepting registrations so please be sure to check out our full line up of activities on our website. Please consult our brochure online for starting dates, as they vary depending on the activity.
All classes will start on scheduled with the exception of Mandarin, Juggling, Art Exploration II, Soccer (Thursdays), Sportball (Thursdays), Sciences III, Science enrichment CM2, and Yoga I. These classes are currently on hold until our minimum enrollment is met. Registered parents will be individually notified of changes. We hope to receive more registrations during the week, and to be able to open these classes as soon as possible. In case of cancellation of any class, you will be reimbursed by the school.
Thank you for your interest in AIS extracurricular activities!
Summer Camp
We had a truly fantastic summer camp this year doing our Les Explorers On Stage! sessions. Drama teachers with Austin Children's Theater and trilingual staff from AIS joined forces to bring a language immersion theater experience like nowhere else in town. Check out pictures in the hallway and video online. Be sure to look for Les Explorers information coming next semester - you won't want to miss it in 2014.
