MEET THE NEW DOCTORS AT EYESPOT
Glenda Berman, O.D.
Dr. Berman graduated with a BA from UCLA and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry. She was in the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and received the Hopping Professional Ethics Award. Dr. Berman gained valuable optometric experience with heavy emphasis on Ocular Disease at the Veterans Hospital in Jamaica Plain. At the New England College of Optometry. She has training at the Veterans Hospital in Arizona as well as the U.S. Naval Hospital in Connecticut. She brings with her a devotion to providing specialized patient care unique to each patient's needs. EYESPOT is honored to have Dr. Berman as one of our Optometrists treating and caring for our patients.  Daniel Bastian, O.D.
Dr. Bastian graduated Cum Laude from BU with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry. While completing his Optometry degree he was Class President for four years as well as a Teaching Assistant and Clinical Tutor. Upon graduation he received the Dr. Edward Joseph Troendle, Jr. Award in recognition of his dedication to the College and Profession of Optometry. Dr. Bastian is completing his ocular disease residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in both Brockton and Worcester MA. He has received training at the Naval Station Medical Clinic in Newport Rhode Island as well as East Boston Neighborhood Health Center Eye Clinic. He brings with him his excellent interpersonal skills, efficiency in the exam room, and highly motivated attitude.  Ly Lam, O.D.
Dr. Lam graduated with a BS in Psychobiology from UCLA. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry. She received the Gordon & Silvers Vision West Award for her academic excellence, leadership and involvement in organized optometry as well as the Berkeley Optometry Class of 2009 Award for her high level of academic and clinical distinction. Dr. Lam is fluent in Swedish, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Spanish. She is completing her ocular disease and primary care residency at the Jamaica Plain VA Hospital in Boston. Dr. Lam truly enjoys working with young children and brings with her a dedication to excellent patient care that is critical to the vision and health of our patients.
