Library Volunteers Training Day
Wednesday, February 13, 8 a.m., West Campus Library
Do you love to organize, alphabetize and put things in order? Our volunteers are an important part of our library; they help keep books on the shelves so students can find them. We would LOVE for you to volunteer your time to help make our school even better. No experience is required, and training and snacks will be provided. Library opportunities for volunteers will include training in how to shelve fiction, non-fiction, children's, biography, and young adult books; how to deselect library materials (less really is more); and how to make this the best library possible! Contact Doug Bean at bean_doug@svvsd.org if you are interested.
Volunteers Needed to Organize HS Booster Club
Did you know that we are in need of a Booster Club for our high school? Are you looking for an opportunity to fulfill your volunteer hours and raise support for the school? Would YOU be interested in helping to organize the Boosters? The Booster Club will help support the needs of the students both in and out of the classroom. We need you! Please email Don Young, dontyoung@gmail.com or call him at 720-883-7174.
Eighth Grade Parents Volunteers Needed to Organize the Continuation Ceremony
The end of the year is quickly approaching, and we need volunteers to help coordinate the 8th grade continuation ceremony and dance. If you are interested in helping or receiving more information, please contact Jen Whitmer at whitmer_jennifer@svvsd.org.
Volunteer needed to Help with Math Mates
HS Math Teacher, Lon Holder, needs a parent volunteer to help score Math's Mates and correlate the results. If interested, please contact him at holder_lon@svvsd.org.
