PTO Bylaws
As a member of the TPCA Community, you are automatically a member of the TPCA Parent Teacher Organization. Our members play a role in the decision making process as to the direction and activities of the PTO. In addition to voting on the annual budget, the membership is responsible for the bylaws. The current PTO Officers have worked hard to bring our current bylaws up to date. Most of the changes have been correcting inconsistences, bringing it in line with school requirements, best practices, and current technology. We encourage you to read the bylaws to better understand what the PTO is, why we exist, and how we operate.
At the next membership meeting on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 5:30 membership will discuss the revised bylaws. The proposed Bylaws will be voted on at the January 9, 2013 membership meeting. Click on the link to access the bylaws. PTO ByLaws 2012

Reading Challenge | |
Attention ALL TPCA students: The 2,000,000 Minutes Reading Challenge is coming your way! Beginning next Monday, December 3, all TPCA students K-6 will begin recording the number of minutes they read every day. Our goal is for EVERY student to read 30 minutes a day, five days a week.
If our school meets the 2,000,000 minutes goal by February 22, then Mr. Buchmann will dress up as someone/something special for an entire school day. The only way to find out what that special thing/person will be is to meet our goal!
There will also be prizes given out at the K-2 and 3-6 grade levels.
Watch out! Other fun activities and prizes are coming your way! So, everybody get ready to READ! |
