Upcoming Events APCD is Participating In:
Funding for On-Road & Off-Road Projects!

The Engine Emission Reduction Incentive Program (EERIP) is now open! For the first time this past year, APCD was forced to close its EERIP due to nearly exhausted funds from awarded grant projects. This is the first time the APCD closed the program early since beginning administering grants over 17 years ago, demonstrating significantly increased interest in the program! The EERIP, however, has been granted additional funding and has reopened to continue reducing emissions through its Engine Emission Reduction off-road and on-road projects. The incentive program targets early diesel and ozone precursor emission reductions in San Luis Obispo County. Many of these pollution sources are subject to current and future State regulations, and the Incentive Program can help pro-active companies comply with these requirements. Find out more about The EERIP and School Bus Replacement and Retrofit Programs on our website.

They will promote these materials at upcoming farmers markets, special events and presentations. A Do-It-Yourself Showcase is also being planned for the end of spring to highlight sustainable energy technologies and practices available to local residents and businesses in the area.
