Please help! City of Seattle Housing Services Director Dannette Smith recently announced budget cuts to the Urban Rest Stop and eight other hygiene and day centers.

You can help by calling Mayor McGinn at his office at (206) 684-4000 and asking him to: "Restore full funding to the Urban Rest Stop and other hygiene centers for 2013 and 2014." If you get their voicemail, please leave them a message. You can also email the mayor at Mike.McGinn@seattle.gov We want the Mayor to hear from all of us. 

The cuts to the Urban Rest Stop are -$8,410, a 4.35% reduction in 2013 and -$11,203, a 5.8% reduction in 2014.
