The Hough JROTC program had a busy Memorial Day weekend supporting our local communities:
On Saturday, May 23rd, 2015 the Hough JROTC Cadets along with several veterans and Mayor John Woods from the town of Davidson honored deceased veterans at three local cemeteries by placing U.S Flags in remembrance for their sacrifices and service to our nation.
On Monday, May 25th, 2015 the Hough JROTC Cadets participated in two separate Memorial Day events to honor our veterans who served our nation and to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in preserving our freedoms.
In conjunction with the American Legion, Post 86, our cadets participated in Cornelius' Annual Memorial Day Celebration. Another group of cadets also provided support to the Preston House Assisted Living, in Charlotte, during their Memorial Day Celebration.
