Bailey's Glen Gala
Auction Donations Requested
Submitted by Dean of Students Jessica Savage
We have exciting news about Hough's partnership with residents in the Bailey's Glen community. A Silent and Live Auction Gala is planned for January 22, 2015. You can help support the Partnership's goals by assisting with securing goods, services or financial donations for the auction. The Bailey's Glen-Hough High School Partnership has two primary functions. Bailey's Glen residents provide financial and volunteer assistance to enhance the educational process for students and offer mini-grants for teachers. In return, Hough students and staff provide educational and entertainment activities for Bailey's Glen residents. If you have contacts with businesses in the Hough area or have items or services to donate, please contact Jessica Savage via email at jessica.savage@cms.k12.nc.us or by phone at 980-344-0514. Together we can make a difference.

Re-link your VIC Card to Hough Organizations Today!
Re-link as we go into the holiday season!!!
Submitted by PTSA VP Fundraising, Amy Mory
Who does their grocery shopping at Harris Teeter? With all the Harris Teeter locations, we would think many of you shop there. However, not all of you have linked your Harris Teeter VIC card. We have approximately 1000 plus families at Hough and there are only 399 cards linked at this point and have earned over $697 so far. It is so easy to link your card....just tell the cashier when you are checking out that you would like your card linked to the Hough PTSA. They should have the number, but here it is just in case: 8376. Linking your card will not affect what you pay for your items nor will it charge you a fee. Harris Teeter simply donates a portions of sales to us through their Together In Education program. And if you have kids at other school (or in booster clubs at Hough), you can split the donations up to five ways, so please include the Hough PTSA #8376.
Thank you for your time and support of Hough High School!
Harris Teeter's Together In Education program is a fund raising program for schools in our community. When customers purchase select Harris Teeter Brand products using their VIC card, Harris Teeter contributes a percentage of those purchase dollars to the schools of their choice. In addition, a percentage of each prescription filled in a Harris Teeter pharmacy will be donated as well. Customers must have their VIC card linked to a TIE school in order to participate. We need your support! This is a painless way for us to raise needed funds.
You must re-link each year!
Please consider linking your Harris Teeter VIC Card to the following Hough organizations:
PTSA # 8376
Husky Athletic Club # 8348
Band # 8414
JROTC # 8368
Chorus # 2072
There are several ways to re-link your VIC card:
· click on this link Harris Teeter Together in Education
· Customer Service desk
· At the checkout counter
· Call 1-800-432-6111 (number located on the back of your VIC card)
You can link up to 5 organizations/schools (funds will be divided equally).

Link your Target Red Card to Hough
*This program runs year-round so you do not need to re-link yearly*
Hough is linked to Target's Together in Education program! Enroll today and Target will donate a percentage of each REDcard purchase you make to our school!(Only one school can be selected.) Call 1-800-316-6142, visit Target.com/tcoe or an in-store kiosk to sign up and designate Hough as your school today! No need to re-link each year!
