NEW AMPHI WEBSITE INFO

Amphi launched the new webpage last week. Some users are still experiencing issues accessing the new page and may receive a security error message on their computers and/or mobile phones. This error message is because the new webpage starts with "http://" instead of "https://". Any previously stored bookmarks or favorites of the "old" https://www.amphi.com, will need to be updated to http://www.amphi.com.

The district has been working with teachers and other employees internally to correct these settings, they have also been receiving inquiries from parents as well. We would like you to send the following information out to parents to help them access the new webpage if they are having difficulties and share with others in your office in case parents call your schools to report issues with the webpage.

1.      If you have the Amphitheater Public Schools district homepage or a specific school web page as your default "home" page, you will need to reset it to http://www.amphi.com (or navigate to the specific school's webpage by going to "Choose School" in the dropdown menu at the top of the page) and reset it as the default page.

2.      Update any previously stored Bookmarks or Favorites saved in your browser. Type in www.amphi.com (it should automatically take you to the http:// link instead of https://).

3.      If the webpage still does not display, the browser cache may need to be cleared. The following URL explains how to clear the cache for the different browsers.

Also, many parents are looking for the Parent Portal link to access their child's grades and other class information. There is a shortcut button in the top right corner of every page with an "A+." Your parents should be able to click on this button and log in to the Parent Portal just as they did previously. (See attached screenshot)

If anyone is still experiencing problems, please direct them to contact the Community Relations department at contactus@amphi.com and we will look into the issue.
