Hey FRESHMAN Parents---WE NEED YOU!
-Here's a great way to get involved at CDO and the community.
The Oro Valley Cup Golf Tournament is the major fundraiser for Project Graduation. The planning committee needs several parents from each school to serve and help make this event a success. We help secure sponsorships, golfers, silent auction items for after the tournament and of course volunteer the day of the event. Even if you know nothing about golf, please consider helping. If you can't make the time commitment, please consider securing a golf foursome, a sponsorship/monetary donation of any level or an item for the silent auction.
The Oro Valley Cup Golf Tournament will be held Friday, February 5th. Stay tuned to future emails for more details and registration information.
Our next planning meeting will be on Sunday, November 8th at 2pm at the Oro Valley Community and Recreation Center formally the Hilton-El Conquistador Country Club in Oro Valley.

 CDO Cross Country
The girls finished 6th out of 17 teams and qualified for the state championships next Saturday. There were 112 girls in the race. The course was 5 kilometers in length. Samantha Leitch led the way with a 13th place finish (20:13) and won a medal. The other girls on the team were Katie Bruno 19th (20:35), Rylee King 21st (20:36), Alissa Stright 52nd (28:58), and Karina Marcano 89th (24:03). The boys finished 10th out of 17 teams and there were 114 boys in the race. Isaiah Guevara and Mike Madigan qualified for the state championships, both winning medals for their performances. Isaiah was 5th (16:26) and Mike was 12th (16:43). The girls race at 12:15 and the boys will race at 1:05 next Saturday.
