"You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown"
Wows Sold-Out Crowd!

A huge congratulations to director Flo Galvez and musical directors Lynn McArthur and Aaron Redner as well, OF COURSE, to the cast and crew of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" for a great job on the show!

Presentation grad Cristian Isbrandtsen was hired by the McNeely family to photograph the show on Friday night and his gorgeous photos are available for all to see (and download!) here.  The password is: Presentation.

BINGO Plans Firming Up

Sure To Be A Fun Night for All!

In lieu of the father-daughter and mother-son events in past years, we are gathering the entire school community for a fun night of BINGO this year!  Mark your calendars for March 28th in the Activity Center, from 6:00-8:30pm.

El Coyote Gourmet Taco Truck will be selling food or you can bring a picnic dinner.  We will have prizes and our students can even take a turn calling out the numbers.

This will great fun for the whole family (all ages) and great way to celebrate our kids and community.

The Presentation School Golf Tournament
is Coming Your Way April 25
Golf men
Enjoy a day out on a gorgeous golf course with some of your friends at our 14th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, April, 25, at Eagle Vines Golf Club in Napa. Registration is at 11am - shotgun start is at 1pm. $190 will get you lunch, golf, use of putting green, use of driving range, cart, fantastic dinner and more laughs than at a clowns convention! Not a golfer, then join us for dinner and dancing at 6pm.

This year, instead of a time-consuming and elaborate auction, we will only be taking a short break from the festivities for our annual FUND A NEED initiative.

We are excited, in one fell swoop, to raise the rest of the additional funds needed for our school to go 1:1 with Chromebooks for our Upper School kids, for professional development for tech in the classrooms, more IT support and lower school wish lists like smart boards and class sets of tablets.

Click HERE to download a paper copy of the invite. Online tickets sales will be available this week.  Email Nancy Bei at nbei@presentationschool.com if you have any questions.

World Day for Theater at Presentation on Thursday
Please Help Us Spread The Word - Invite Your Friends!
This Thursday at 9am, Presentation School will host a showcase for World Day for Theater highlighting the youth arts organizations in Sonoma. There will be performances by our own theater arts dept., Broadway Bound Kids, Sonoma Dance Academy, Sonoma Ballet Conservatory and a special screening of a student film from the Sonoma International Film Festival.  Admission is free and this event is open to the community.  Please consider inviting your friends to join you!
Presentation Recruiting Members for
Co-Ed Middle School Golf Team
  kiddos
Pictured above is our golf team from a few years ago...

We are interested in fielding a golf team of boys and girls in the 5th-8th grades. Students practice their golf skills, learn about competitive play and compete in a series of matches against several other Catholic schools in our area.

If your student shows a strong interest in the sport, with or without prior experience, please contact Kathleen Grieve at kmgrieve@vom.com. If you are a parent with golf knowledge and an interest in coaching and monitoring matches - we need you! The only way for us to create a golf team for this school year is with the support of at least one more coach to work with David Grieve.

Practices will be held Tuesdays beginning March 25 after school until approximately 5pm, with some weekend workshops.

Our six matches will also be held on Tuesdays (April 1st-May 20). All players are expected to be available for a minimum of three matches.

Please let us know parent coach and student interest by Monday, March March 17th. Please don't hesitate to contact me regarding any questions.

Presentation Students Lead CYO Teams to League  Championships!

Amazingly, for the first time in many years (if not perhaps ever), the majority of our Presentation students who played on a CYO team contributed to a championship winning season this year. CYO (Catholic Youth organization) is a highly competitive league that compete against teams from all over Northern California.

Just two of the teams are pictured here. The championship winning Presentation students include:
Anders Mathison
Luc DeMartini
Finn Parker
Shaun Sanhu
Lucca Sebastiani
Sophia Riebli
Tessa Freudenberger
Hannah Rose McNeely
Annie Neles
Mikaela Zeiger
Mary Minigan
Alexia Lema

Presentation Grads Featured in Story about Justin Siena High School Becoming a Boarding School

It was great to catch a glimpse of Presentation grads Frances Minigan - third from left in front (class of 2011) and Henry Grieve second from right in back (class of 2012) in a newspaper article about Justin-Siena High School's recent announcement that it will begin accepting boarding students in 2014-2015 school year.

Presentation Student Participates in
Middle School Filmmakers Workshop

Earlier this month, 7th grader Hannah Rose McNeely participated in the Sonoma Film Festival/Boys & Girls Club's annual free middle school filmmaking workshop. Each year, there is room for 2-3 Presentation students to participate.

The all-weekend workshop centers around the creation of short live-action videos.  The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma provides instructors, a location for the workshop and use of its state-of-the-art computer lab and editing equipment. The video that Hannah Rose worked on will be screened at the beginning of the film festival's Youth Works Program in April at the Sebastiani Theater.
