CPC Seeks New Ironmaster's Mansion Innkeeper and Says Goodbye to Mike & Mary
We are sad to say farewell to a couple who has done a stellar job operating and maintaining the Ironmaster's Mansion at Pine Grove Furnace State Park. They will be moving to Vermont in early April to be close to family and work as caretakers at a private fishing camp.

"It's been our distinct pleasure to serve as the innkeepers for the Ironmaster's Mansion. We couldn't have asked for better people to work with or more beautiful surroundings. Our thanks to the CPC for the opportunity," says Mike Jones.

CPC is already in process with reviewing applications for their replacement and asks that our members and friends spread the word to individuals who may be interested. Click here for a position description with application instructions. The information is also available on our website. The application deadline is March 11, and start date is April 8, 2016. Thank you for helping us promote this special opportunity to manage a treasured historic resource, work with a dedicated team of professionals at the Park, become a part of the Appalachian Trail experience, and live in an idyllic setting with so much recreation at your doorstep.

CPC Annual Report and Membership Letter To Be Mailed Next Week!

Our Annual Report will be mailed next week, along with a letter from our president requesting 2016 membership. It is critical to CPC's continued operations to maintain a broad-based membership in our service region. Not only does it allow us to deliver on our core programs, constituting 30-40% of our revenue, but it leverages state and federal grant funding to protect land and natural resources in our region.
Currently, we are in process with acquiring three key properties in Cumberland County, two conservation easements in Perry County, and one 170-acre conservation easement in Cumberland County's South Mountain region adjoining the Appalachian Trail Corridor and State Game Lands.
