Dear
Recent polio cases confirmed in previously polio-free countries is a glaring message that as long as polio exists anywhere in the world, every child remains at risk.
Occasions such as the World Polio Day, observed on 24th October, are evidence of the commitment of all Rotarians to keep fighting the battle against polio. The live global update received more than 11,000 views in just one week. In case you missed it, we have carried a link to the broadcast in this issue of OFN.
November is the Rotary Foundation month. Another occasion to recommit ourselves for Doing Good in the World. With the Annual Fund goal for 2013-14 amounting to average US$100 per Rotarian, we need to continue giving and encouraging others to do so.
