Catch a free bus ride this week with Wichita Transit during Free Fares Week! Through Saturday, June 20 all bus routes will be free to the public in order to promote using transit as a means to improve air quality in our city. Try a bus ride during Free Fares Week and find out how public transit can become a part of your means of transportation.

Join the Wichita Grand Opera to celebrate it's 15th anniversary and to pay tribute to WGO's Chairman, Dr. Dennis Ross, at the Chairman's Opera Ball. This premiere social event benefits the Opera and will be taking place Downtown at the Hyatt.

Opening this week, Roxy's Downtown presents Cougar, the Musical! For a great time, make plans to catch a performance of this hysterical, musical comedy that stars Patty Reeder, Kelly Wonsetler, and Ronda Kingwood.

The Orpheum Theatre and Emprise Bank present the american comic, science fiction film, Back to the Future! This 30th anniversary screening is part of the 2015 Classic Film Series that offers a monthly viewing of film favorites in Downtown Wichita.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY 
June 23 - 27

The 2015 YMCA National Gymnastics Championship will be coming to Wichita this week at Century II on June 23 - June 27! This tournament will transform Downtown into a mini Olympic village as 6,000 athletes coaches and family members travel to Wichita from more than 100 YMCAs nationwide.


Hundreds of local volunteers will be needed in order to help make this amazing event successful in Downtown Wichita. All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and access to the event on the day they volunteer.
