The arts not only provide cultural benefits, but improve communities socially, educationally, and economically. They can increase a city's economic health in the areas of job creation, the retention of young professionals, and attracting new businesses.

On the heels of the recent Fuel the Fire Speaker Series, the WDDC is happy to partner with the Arts Council and City of Wichita to continue the community conversations at an Arts Council Breakfast Program "Innovation and Creativity Through the Arts."

The breakfast will feature Americans for the Arts Vice President of Research and Policy, Randy Cohen. Cohen is among the most noted experts in the field of arts funding, research, policy, and using the arts to address community development issues. Tickets are $15 with breakfast included.
