Bring the kids to CityArts for a craft time for adults to do with children. This event is free and open to the public and runs from 10am - noon in the Main Gallery of CityArts.

 Enjoy the holiday spirit and celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Sedgwick Co. Historical Museum with free admission to all four floors from 1-5pm.

Old-time-style radio comedy featuring local celebrities and singing groups that will be recorded and played back on radio station KFH on Christmas morning.


Dec. 12 - 14

Music Theater for Young People presents the heartwarming Christmas musical, Miracle on 34th Street. Based on the 20th Century Fox Picture. Book, music, and lyrics by Meredith Wilson. Three shows will be performed from Dec. 12-14 at Century II's Mary Jane Teall Theatre. Admission: Adults $12 in advance, $15 at the door, Students $10.
Dec. 13 - 14

Ballet Wichita's presentation of the Nutcracker Ballet will be dazzling audiences Dec. 13 and 14, 2014. Dancers from Ballet Idaho will perform with a cast of over 100 Ballet Wichita company dancers at Century II Concert Hall. The Ballet Wichita Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Jay Decker, performs Tchaikovsky's timeless symphony. Tickets range from $12.50-$40.

The Santaland Diaries is a hilarious one-man send-up of his brief, misguided career as a Macy's elf. Special vocal appearance by Cindy Summers.

A Bad Christmas Carol

A delightful spoof of the classic Christmas tale presented by Mosley Street Melodrama, Wichita's only audience participation dinner theatre.

Based on the musical Forever Plaid, Plaid Tidings is a funny musical revue chock-full of classic barbershop quartet harmonies and pitch-perfect melodies.


Dec. 17 
This year, Jim Brickman will bring together the sounds of the season with On A Winter's Night. Hailed by the Boston Herald as a "crowd-pleaser," Jim celebrates this in a one-of-a-kind concert event filled with lush instrumentals and soaring vocals.
Dec. 16 
Country music star Lorrie Morgan will perform live at the Wichita Orpheum Theatre. Morgan, the youngest inductee into the Grand Ole Opry, will perform holiday favorites, along with hits such as "Five Minutes," "Something in Red," "Watch Me," and "What Part of No."
