Drive or walk through a free light tour presented by Heartspring and KWCH 12, the Lights at WaterWalk! Lights will be open daily from sundown - 10pm.

Join Mayor Carl Brewer, City Council and Santa for the official lighting of the City Christmas tree at Century II! The family fun continues inside after.

Visit unique shops and restaurants then enjoy a free horse drawn carriage ride in Old Town Square from noon-4pm every Saturday!

Through Dec. 12
The City of Wichita, Cambridge Market and Starkey Inc. are once again teaming up with the North Pole to collect Letters to Santa and give away early Christmas presents that include a guest appearance on a KAKE Channel 10 newscast and a ride on a Wichita fire truck! Letters may be dropped off now through December 12 in specified drop off locations. Every letter dropped off in person by the deadline will receive a response from Santa himself.

The Santaland Diaries is a hilarious one-man send-up of his brief, misguided career as a Macy's elf. Special vocal appearance by Cindy Summers.

A Bad Christmas Carol

A delightful spoof of the classic Christmas tale presented by Mosley Street Melodrama, Wichita's only audience participation dinner theatre.

Based on the musical Forever Plaid, Plaid Tidings is a funny musical revue chock-full of classic barbershop quartet harmonies and pitch-perfect melodies.


Nov. 30

 The quintessential Christmas opera presented by Opera Kansas. Amahl is the story of a crippled boy living in poverty that is visited by the three kings.

Christmas Express Concert

A Rockin' Holiday concert for the whole family!  Favorites from blues blues and gospel to rock, jazz and classical plus a visit from Santa Claus!

Enjoy a free Thanksgiving concert from Noon - 1pm outside of the Wichita Sedgwick County Historical Museum. This event is free and open to all.


Nov. 28 - Nov. 29

 Free admission to the Wichita Art Museum from 11am - 3pm the two days after Thanksgiving for films, art making activities, and PopUpTours in addition to admittance into galleries!

Botanica's Illuminations

Walk through beautiful family-friendly light displays in Wichita's botanical gardens. Musical performances, Santa appearances & more!
