Wichita Restaurant Week

Oct. 11 - 19

Wichita Restaurant Week is back to give the community an opportunity to eat, drink and give back. Building off an incredible first year, Wichita Restaurant Week is Oct. 10-19 with a variety of dining experiences for local foodies to savor. When patrons select items from the special Restaurant Week menu, 10 percent of sales will be donated to Boys and Girls Clubs of South Central Kansas. The Restaurant Week menu will vary at each restaurant with a price point of $10, $20 or $40. Many restaurants are creating all new dishes to highlight during this 10-day event. A complete list of participating restaurants can be found at WichitaRestaurantWeek.com.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

View the building. Enjoy the food. See what the buzz is all about! The LUX will be hosting an Open House for the public on Thursday, October 23 from 5:30-7:30pm! The LUX is a mixed-use redevelopment project in the former KG&E building at First & Market. The 1950's character of the building, the goal of LEED Gold Certification, and a multitude of amenities, creates a unique sense of community and place. The LUX offers modern, Downtown living, in a city that is in the midst of a great revitalization!

Demographics are changing. Community wants and needs are changing. How do we ensure that Wichita attracts and retains talented professionals, provides unique opportunities for its citizens, and is recognized as a place others want to live? Join us for the final keynote in the Fuel the Fire Speaker Series featuring Brad Segal, who will discuss national trends affecting Wichita. This event is free and open to the public and will take place from 5:00-6:00pm at The LUX (120 E. 1st St. N.)
