LIFE HAPPENS HERE!
Wichita's hub for arts and entertainment is Downtown.
Oct. 15-19

The Tallgrass Film Festival, the largest independent film festival in the state of Kansas, is a hallmark of Wichita's cultural landscape. Now entering its 12th year, the festival has become an internationally recognized, multi-day platform for world-class cinematic programming, while showcasing Wichita's revitalized downtown area and many of its cultural attractions. The festival strives to serve as a venue and a voice for independent films and filmmakers - spotlighting films that would otherwise not have a proper theatrical screening in the region - while showcasing Wichita's cultural & artistic communities. 12th annual Tallgrass Film Festival takes place Oct. 15-19, 2014 in and around downtown Wichita, Kansas.
