LIFE HAPPENS HERE!
Wichita's hub for arts and entertainment is Downtown.
September 2 or 3

What defines Wichita for you? Community organizations have partnered together to create a comprehensive community wide strategy on how to communicate our story going forward. This shared understanding of what makes Wichita great will help promote Wichita to visitors, potential businesses, students and residents. The public is encouraged to voice their opinion at one of two Wichita Brand Summit Workshops where they will have an opportunity to share their input on what they think makes Wichita unique.

Final Friday
Friday, Aug. 29

As the name implies, Final Friday happens the last Friday of each month. Art galleries, museums, restaurants and retail shops around Wichita stay open late and welcome visitors. Final Friday is free and open to the public and is a great way to support local artists and purchase one of a kind artwork. Free trolley service is available on the Q-Line.
Tuesday, Sept. 2

Leading with Heart, a 1st TUE Talk, will discuss leadership, transforming musicians into an ensemble of one sound, motivating/working with people and students, managing the process, failure, the frustrations, the technicalities and creativity. $5 suggested donation. Doors open at 6:30pm.
