Final design concepts addressing lighting, pigeon mitigation & the inclusion of art and technology, have been completed for the revitalization of the Douglas Ave. Underpass thanks to a generous grant from the Knight Foundation. These concepts will be unveiled at a come and go Public Open House on Tuesday, August 26.

Country music legend Mickey Gilley 

is known as the Original Urban Cowboy - a name he earned from the success of the 1980 movie "Urban Cowboy" that was centered around his nightclub in Pasadena, Texas. Of his 39 hit songs, 17 went to No. 1 on the country charts. Mickey Gilley will be performing at Century II.
