The Tallgrass Film Festival, the largest independent film festival in the state of Kansas, is a hallmark of Wichita's cultural landscape. Now entering its 11th year, the festival has become an internationally recognized, multi-day platform for world-class cinematic programming, while showcasing Wichita's revitalized Downtown area and many of its cultural attractions. The 10th annual Tallgrass Film Festival screened nearly 190 films from 30 countries around the world, including 2 World Premieres and 1 U.S. Premiere. Admission:
General Admission - $10, with a discounted ticket price of $8 for students/teachers/seniors/military/TFA members with valid ID.
General Admission Matinees - $5 for shows that screen before 5:00 pm on Thursday and Friday.
Free Films Friday - A selection of films will be offered free of charge for students/teachers and seniors (65+) with proper ID during the morning and afternoon on Friday.
VIP TALLPass - $195 for access to all festival screenings (100+ films), Smallgrass at Exploration Place, 4 gala screenings and after parties, 4 days access to the VIP Lounge for food, drink and amenities (Th-Su), 3 VIP events including the Mayor's Reception at the Ulrich Museum of Art, Filmmaker reception at WAM & Firkin Filmmaker Brunch at The Monarch and 2 Filmmakers Lab Workshops
