Schedule for Downtown Clean Up Day
April 13, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Meet at WDDC Design & Innovation Center at 505 E. Douglas for volunteer check-in. Volunteers will be required to sign liability waiver. Volunteers under the age of 18 will be required to have a parental guardian.
9:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. Volunteers work on assigned projects. Supplies will be provided by the City of Wichita.
11:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Volunteers collect supplies (shovels, rakes, vests, etc received from the City) and head towards Naftzger Park for lunch and to return supplies.
12:00 p.m. Lunch provided for volunteers at Naftzger Park.
A BIG THANKS to Old Chicago (located at 300 N. Mead in Old Town) for providing lunch for the volunteers.

If you plan to attend please RSVP by Thursday, April 11 to [email protected] or 316-264-6005. Choice of Clean Up Day responsibility will be on a first come first served basis when rsvp'ing. All other volunteers will be responsible for trash pick-up. RSVP now to get your choice of project!
Please wear work clothes and bring work gloves if you have them. In the event of rain, the Downtown Clean Up Day will be rescheduled for the following Saturday on April 20. If applicable, cancellation notification will be provided via email, Facebook and Twitter.
