When Nana and her two puppies came to Pets Alive in June, 2015, she was frightened. Cowering into the nearest corner, she did not take to the kennel. We set up a home for her in the Adoption Office, a more soothing area. As she became accustomed to her surroundings, she took interest in accepting a treat, and event moved off her bed, walked across the room, and sat on the couch! She now goes out into the play yard and will greet you when you enter the office. She is 6 years old and would like a forever home! Pets Alive 363 Derby Road Middletown, NY 10940 (845) 386-9738

Barbara is a happy and healthy girl who is excited to be around people. She knows her sit, down and stay commands and is working on her leash training. Barbara needs a home without cats; but she likes dogs. Come meet her and complete your home for the holidays. Islip Animal Shelter/Live Love Bark 210 S. Denver Ave Bay Shore, New York 11706 (631) 224-5660

Bambi is a beautiful 6-year-old terrier mix. She has been here at ARF for way too long. She is a staff favorite, and for all the best reasons. She is affectionate and lives to please! Bambi radiates love and all she wants is her own human to share it with. She is super active and would enjoy an active home; she is also quite the cuddler. If her smile alone doesn't win you over, her personality will! This housebroken, obedience trained, outgoing gal needs a home!
