Bark For Life is an American Cancer Society fundraising event that honors the lifelong contributions of our canine caregivers. It presents an opportunity for people to be empowered through their canine companion partnerships and to contribute to cancer cures through the American Cancer Society. $20 per person. The Bayport-Blue Point Community Lions Club is hosting their annual "Walk for a Cause" - open to the public, with or without dogs - to help raise funds for America's VetDogs* (*and other local charities.) Meet Iggy, the cat! Straight off the red carpet Iggy "Azalea" is here to entertain you with his fancy cat moves and grammy winning meows! Iggy started out with a home but found himself out on the streets when his owner passed away. Lucky for him a kind neighbor stepped in and corrected this injustice. Now Iggy is waiting for his limo to carry him off to his forever home!

He surrendered me to the shelter and I'm really not doing too good here!!! I really need to go home ASAP!!! Oh, almost forgot to tell you I'm a Sheperd/Rottie mix, you can't beat that combo! Truman is a 3 month old kitten found along with his two sisters (Kennedy & Reagan) by a good samaritan on the streets in Brooklyn. He is now in foster care with Get A Bull. Truman is well socialized, friendly, loves to be held and loves to play with this sisters and his humans. He even has had some contact with a dog! Truman is healthy and will be neutered next week and then is ready to go home. Contact us for more information on adopting this cutie!
