Adoption Corner!
Cagney is a sweet 2 year old pit/lab. She loves people! We are really not certain what her life was like before we got her...except it wasn't good. She and her daughter were trapped in a crate by one of our AC Officers after hearing about 2 dogs running the streets of King Park. Despite any possible abuse this girl may have received she holds no grudges and just wants to love and be loved.

Benito was rescued by Pets Alive in Dec. 2014, hours before he was to be euthanized by a kill shelter in New York City. He was malnourished, weighed only 4 pounds and had chronic Irritable Bowel Syndrome. The shelter repurposed a small room for Benito, who had "litter box issues" with his stomach condition. After much love and caring, Benito overcame his condition and just recently, joined the other cats in the "Library", a room where he roams freely and lounges with the other felines. He's super friendly and is available for 50% off adoption fees until Sept. 30.
