This week's Pet Events Newsletter is brought to you by
Doggables Scoops!

Doggables Scoops are a premium grade, all-natural, VERSAtile dog treat that serve multiple functions!  The design facilitates easier medication delivery and enables veterinary, rescue and animal control personnel to safely calm, and bond with, frightened or aggressive dogs by hand-feeding.  Compassionate, healthy pill delivery in a treat your dog loves.

Our ingredients are nutritious, health-enhancing and soothing to the gastrointestinal system!  They contain NO sugar, glycerin, vegetable oil or milk products (which can interact badly with some dog medications) or any other toxic ingredients that throw your dog's healing body out of balance!  Hand-feeding with our spoon-shaped treats provides comfort and enhances your bond. You choose the soft food best for your dog; peanut butter, cream cheese, etc. and scoop it onto the treat, put the pill inside the soft food and hand-feed.

For more information email us at,
visit our website or call (973) 896-0377.

During this holiday season, which is supposed to promote joy and peace - you can provide just that to a homeless pet by adopting. Come meet a few from our hundreds of adoptable dogs and cats. All animals are dewormed, vaccinated age appropriate, altered, and microchipped; dogs are HW tested and cats FIV / Fe Lv tested. It may not feel like it, but winter is upon us; it's a great time to be out walking your new fur friend or letting them enjoy the backyard and the cool sunny skies. Let a formerly homeless kitty blossom into your new indoor furball inside safely watching bird, squirrels and falling leaves from a window seat. Please bring landlord contact and veterinary info where applicable, and contact info for @ least 2 unrelated references who can be reached. Approved applicants need photo ID confirming address. Our adoption fees are waived to approved adopters during our Home for the Holidays promotion. For more info call (516) 785-5220 email

Adoption Corner!

is a sweet, but a bit shy lady that loves playing with other dogs but would probably be best as the only pet in the household. Candella bonds very strongly with one person and would do best with a small family in a quiet household. Once this sweet girl gets to know you, she loves belly rubs and snuggling by your side. Come meet this girl and see if you can be her best friend for life!

Allie was taken in when she was 5 weeks old and basically ignored. Now, at 2 years of age, she is still being shuffled from place to place. She is in desperate need of a foster home, someone that will give her the attention that she needs and craves. If you could find it in your heart to give her a chance at a normal life she would appreciate it.
