Pet Events Newsletter for July 15 - July 22, 2015
|
This Week's Pet Events Newsletter is brought to you by Doggables! Doggables Scoops and Scoop minis are a premium grade, all-natural, VERSAtile dog treat that serve multiple functions! The ingredients make Doggables scoops a perfect choice for rewarding good behavior and training. The design facilitates easier medication delivery and enables veterinary, rescue and animal control personnel to safely calm, and bond with, frightened or aggressive dogs. Compassionate and healthy pill delivery in a treat your dog loves. Our ingredients are nutritious, health-enhancing and soothing to the gastrointestinal system! They contain NO sugar, glycerin, vegetable oil or milk products (which can interact badly with some dog medications) or any other toxic ingredients that throw your dog's healing body out of balance! Our treats have only ingredients that heal and nourish! Plus, hand-feeding with our spoon-shaped treats provides comfort and enhances your bond. You choose the soft food best for your dog; peanut butter, cream cheese, etc. and scoop it onto the treat, put the pill inside the soft food and hand-feed. These treats are made here in the USA.
Safe for veterinarian staff and rescue groups The scoop handle is perfect for safely hand-feeding aggressive or unknown dogs through crates, helping bonding and building trust! For more information email us at info@doggablestreats.com, visit our website www.doggablestreats.com or call (973) 896-0377. Thank you to for making this newsletter possible!

Tilly came to us from a horrific breeding/fighting situation. After 20 drains and over 100 stitches, she is now a beautiful, happy blue nosed beauty. She just needs a nice, loving home to call her own. She is about 4 years old, spayed and up to date on all vaccines and tests. Tilly asks for so little but gives her loyalty as if no one has ever betrayed her. Looking for her to be a single pet who will be spoiled rotten! Handsome Rusty #8840 is your typical 5 yr young, orange tabby DSH... big and mushy. Rusty is a bit shy @ first, then warms and seeks contact. He was surrendered to us along with his 9 other siblings when his former owner got evicted. Rusty gets along great with other cats and doesn't seem to mind well mannered canines either. What else do we know about Rusty? He just loves, loves, loves attention so much that he waits to crawl into your lap just to cuddle. Rusty needs a patient person as being in the shelter has really traumatized him. Town of Hempstead of Animal Shelter3320 Beltagh Ave Wantagh, New York 11793 (516) 785-5220

Delicious Apple #2459 approximately 4 yrs young, sadly is a longtimer. She arrived as a stray 22 months ago - underweight, missing hair and fly bites on her body - making it pretty evident that she spent most, if not all, of her life outside. Apple is a volunteer favorite who loves to play, chase balls, run fast, and has lots of energy. She has been on events, loves to snuggle, and even thinks she's a lap dog! Apple would prefer to be the only dog in her home because she seems to be a little inexperienced with dogs. Town of Hempstead of Animal Shelter3320 Beltagh Ave Wantagh, New York 11793 (516) 785-5220
