Long Island Pet Professionals sets sail for a summer Boat Cruise and Cocktail Party Networking event being held for area pet professionals. The exclusive event will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 6pm and the boat sets sail at 6pm, guests are asked to be there by 5:45pm, and is leaving from Riverhead, NY behind the Long Island Aquarium. The event will include plenty of networking for pet professionals to mingle and get to know each other better. A Naturalist on board; A stop at the preserve island; wine, beer, bottled water, and lite cocktail nibblers too; and a swag bag for each attendee of the event as a thank you for attending! 

***A portion of the proceeds will go to one of our member non-profit rescue groups - to be chosen the night of the event!*** The cost for the Boat Cruise networking event is $60.00 per person for official Members of Long Island Pet Professionals and $75.00 per person for Non-members. Two year old Princess 5956 a tiny 38 lb pittie was found abandoned in deplorable conditions. She is shy and scared at the shelter but takes comfort by cuddling in the volunteer's laps. She is learning to leash walk and play with toys. Being around another dog helps Princess feel more comfortable. Her ideal home would be with experienced owners, lots of love, time and patience to help her navigate through life. Due to her shyness Princess would do best in a home with children ten and up. She is vaccinated, and will be spayed and microchipped prior to adoption.
