The Kaeli Kramer Foundation and the Muttontown Horsemen's Association are proud to announce their fourth annual fundraiser at beautiful Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, New York on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 6:30 PM.

Join the festivities, featuring an evening of wine tasting, live music by Joe Salemi, light fare, silent auction and raffles. Tickets are $65.00 per person and a table of six is $360.00. Proceeds from this event help fund the Kaeli Kramer Foundation Equine Sanctuary and the work of the Muttontown Horsemen's Association in preserving Long Island's open trails. Long Island Pet Professionals sets sail for a summer Boat Cruise and Cocktail Party Networking event being held for area pet professionals. The exclusive event will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 6pm and the boat sets sail at 6pm, guests are asked to be there by 5:45pm, and is leaving from Riverhead, NY behind the Long Island Aquarium. The event will include plenty of networking for pet professionals to mingle and get to know each other better. A Naturalist on board; A stop at the preserve island; wine, beer, bottled water, and lite cocktail nibblers too; and a swag bag for each attendee of the event as a thank you for attending!

***A portion of the proceeds will go to one of our member non-profit rescue groups - to be chosen the night of the event!*** The cost for the Boat Cruise networking event is $60.00 per person for official Members of Long Island Pet Professionals and $75.00 per person for Non-members. Adoption Corner!

Introducing Scorpio and Snowie!

Wonderful Scorpio, #3649, 9 year old M/N Pittie mix. Seized along with 8 other dogs back in January 2014 in hellish conditions @ the home of a convicted dog fighter. Scorpio was very frightened; it took a lot of love and time to bring him around. He is the last dog from that group.
He is well behaved, good on leash, calm and comfortable around most other dogs. At last weekend's event, he helped our current shy boy (Pumpkin) to take a nice walk and enjoy rolling in the grass. Please give Scorpio a loving home for his golden years

Snowie, #5326, was surrendered to the shelter when her owner died. No one in the family could commit to help this 11 year old beauty. So mellow and sweet that she wouldn't stop purring during her medical intake exam! As much as she likes to be pet, she prefers not to be picked up.
She's really gorgeous and were she younger she would be scooped up by adopters or rescue. She travels well, is calm & passive @ events - social and calm by the other cats - she doesn't even seem to be fearful of well behaved dogs.
