2014 Adopt-a-thon and Microchipping Event!

On August 9th, we'll be hosting our annual Adopt-a-Thon. We will have over 100 animals for adoption! Come watch our dogs strut their stuff as they walk down the doggie red carpet!  Live Love Bark Dog Rescue Inc (LLB) will be sponsoring this event and will be paying part of the adoption fee for any animal who has been waiting for its forever home for 6 months or longer.  LLB will pay $50.00 for any dog who has been waiting 6 months or longer and $30.00 for any cat who has been waiting 6 months or longer. (That brings adoption fees down to $55 for a dog or $10.00 for cats!) The shelter will be micro-chipping pets for a $25.00 fee. Dogs and cats only. All dogs must be on leash, all cats must be in carriers and any aggressive or scared pet should be muzzled.  Please only bring your pets if you are getting them chipped! We will also have local animal professional vendors and a ton of raffles and prizes! Not able to adopt this time around? Come down and support the shelter by buying some raffles. Introducing Hope! Hope is a beautiful easy going girl who is going on two years at the shelter. She is a calm and easy to handle compact size dog that loves to go for nice long walks. Hope happily performs all basic obedience commands, loves treats and is just a lovely affectionate girl. She is a favorite among the volunteers at the shelter. Molly! Wonderful Molly, lover of people and a dog with no luck. Molly is a soulful Amstaff mix, about 7yrs of age (1/2 of those years spent in shelters), fully vetted, spayed and awaiting love and her 4ever home. She is an angel on leash and knows basic commands; finally briefly adopted and returned months later when the family broke up.
