Come meet just a few of our hundreds of adoptable dogs and cats. A furry new friend for the 4th of July - a perfect way to celebrate without fireworks! Adoptions are free to approved applicants during our "Summer of Love" All pets UTD on vax age appropriate, dewormed, altered and micro chipped. Dogs HW tested, cats FIV/FeLv tested. Join us in the fun! Dogs should have fun over the holidays too so bring them out and let them dig, tunnel and climb through bales of straw to find stuff. Start time is 9:30 am. The event will continue until the limit of 100 runs is reached. The entry fee is $10. No experience needed. Food will be available for purchase and you can then take your dog for a romp on the lovely trail at Zacharias Pond Park which is located right next door. Adoption Corner!
Introducing Buttercup, Sandy, Jill & Cash!
Buttercup is a happy girl now and is ready to find her forever home! She is only about 2 years old, so she has a nice long, healthy life ahead of her now! She could possibly be homed with another dog, but would do best in a home with older children (just due
to her size, not due to her temperament at all.).
Sandy is a sweet girl who is about 2 years old. She LOVES to play with toys, especially squeaky toys and tennis balls. She would do great in an active home. She is currently in training and learning her basics. She walks nicely on a leash and knows the sit command so far. She would do great with a dedicated owner. She needs a home without cats. Sandy is very respectful of her human.If you're interested in either of these sweet girls, please come meet them at Islip Animal Shelter and Adopt-a-Pet Center - 210 South Denver Ave, Bay Shore NY 631-224-5660.
