The Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton College is hosting their 2nd Annual Art & Bark event to benefit People and Puppies at Work for Sight. On Thursday, June 26 from 5 - 7 PM, dog lovers are encouraged to visit the museum with their pups to partake in a 90-minute training seminar, check out local vendors, and enjoy playtime outside of the beautiful museum in Galloway. A dog-training seminar will be hosted by experienced dog trainer of 22 years. Registration is required for the seminar and the cost is $20. The seminar will run from 6:00-7:30 PM. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Dogs must be at least 6-months to participate and kept on a leash at all times. Throughout the evening, guests will also find goods and services from several fun local vendors including dog treats, grooming products, a dog masseuse and groomer, and more. A portion of the proceeds from Art & Bark will be donated to People and Puppies at Work for Sight to help train seeing eye dogs. This Saturday is the Central CT Pet Fair, Dog Walk & 5K!

Runners & Walkers cam Register at their advanced discount pricing until this Thursday June 26 at 5pm. Day of registration fees: $35/runner, $25/walker. This event will benefit the Connecticut Humane Society. This rain or shine event includes: Kids Fun Run, timed 5K Race and Awards, fundraising Dog Walk and FREE Pet Fair. The Pet Fair includes vendors, entertainment, kids activities, demos, food court and an opportunity to meet adoptable pets from the Connecticut Humane Society and area rescue groups. Astro is a handsome Black Lab mix puppy who is about a year old now. 
He's practically grown up at our shelter. He is extremely playful and 
very friendly. He loves tennis balls and a back scratches. He is strong 
and needs an experienced dog owner and would do best in a home with 
older children and without other animals. Astro is learning his 
commands.
