The exclusive event will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 6pm and the boat sets sail at 6pm, guests are asked to be there by 5:45pm, and is leaving from Riverhead, NY behind the Long Island Aquarium. The event will include plenty of networking for pet professionals to mingle and get to know each other better. A Naturalist on board; A stop at the preserve island; wine, beer, bottled water, and lite cocktail nibblers too; and a swag bag for each attendee of the event as a thank you for attending! ***A portion of the proceeds will go to one of our member non-profit rescue groups - to be chosen the night of the event!*** The cost for the Boat Cruise networking event is $60.00 per person for official Members of Long Island Pet Professionals and $75.00 per person for Non-members. Erin is a 4 years young American Bulldog/Terrier Mix around 55 lbs, that is spayed and microchipped. She has been at the shelter going on 3 years and we have no idea why she hasn't been scooped up yet! She is a sweet, gentle, mellow and lovable girl who loves people and kids and also seems ok with most large dogs. Erin knows Sit and Stay, takes a treat gently and walks well on a leash. She seems house-trained as well. Since Erin is very food motivated I'm sure she can be trained to learn a lot more!
