Worship Schedule Sign-up

We are trying a new way to sign-up for helping with worship. Below you will find 3 links, one for each service (8:15, 9:45 and 11:07).  Please copy and paste the link below of the service you attend in your web browser and hit enter.  You will see highlighted in yellow the positions that need to be filled.  Please just click in the box or by the number and type your name.  When you exit out, it automatically saves your name in that spot.  Anyone who clicks on the link will see the updated version.  For some reason, it doesn't work from a tablet.

8:15 Worship Schedule - March

9:45 Worship Schedule - March

 11:07 Worship Schedule - March

Thank you so much for your willingness to serve and to try new ways.  Special thanks to Caitlyn Kiefer and Samantha Polek for the great idea.

There is also a sign-up board in the Fellowship Hall to manually sign-up if you prefer to do it that way.  Or you can always email me dates, times and position you would like to fill.  One of the reasons we are trying this is when we pass clipboards around, some people don't see the clipboards and some positions we get 3 people for 1 spot. I appreciate your comments and suggestions.  It's important to make this easy and welcoming for all.  Thank you, again, for your willingness to serve!  You are a gift!  Know you are loved! Cynthia Hibbard, Ministry Coordinator [email protected]

The Season of Lent:

The Season of Lent spans the 40 days leading up to Easter, excluding Sundays - because every Sunday is considered a "little Easter!  It is a more reflective time in the church year, modeled after the forty days Jesus spent in the desert being tempted by the devil.  Like our Savior, we choose to lay aside those practices that lead us into temptation.  Instead, we put on the "full armor of God" - through study of God's Word at home and in Small Group Bible Studies, as well as through prayer, generosity, and serving others in Christ's name.

Easter Cantata Rehearsals, Wednesdays, 6:45PM

Rehearsals for the Easter cantata have begun and ALL are invited to participate! We are preparing an amazing presentation that proclaims the powerful Easter Gospel through music and narration. Those who don't read music are welcome and able to learn the music with rehearsal tracks. New faces are always refreshing-truly ALL are invited! The cantata will be presented on Easter (April 5th) at all three services. An important dress rehearsal is Saturday April 4th from 10:00AM-12:00N. Weekly rehearsals are Wednesdays at 6:45PM (or immediately following Lenten services when appropriate). There will be a few Sunday rehearsals (following the 3rd service) to accommodate folks who can't attend Wednesdays. We need both vocalists and instrumentalists. Contact John Ivan for more information via email: [email protected] , cell phone: 262-620-2349, or at church! The great gift of Easter is hope-Christian hope which makes us have that confidence in God, in his ultimate triumph, and in his goodness and love, which nothing can shake.

Youth Praise Team: Rehearses Wednesdays, 5:00 PM

The Youth Praise Team rehearses Wednesday nights at 5:00PM during Lent in the music room downstairs. Parents, encourage your child to come an hour early and lift their voices in praise. Music has the ability to inspire, uplift, comfort, and energize us like nothing else can. Contact John Ivan for more information.

Praise Team: Rehearses Wednesdays, 8:00 PM

The Praise Team rehearses on Wednesday's at 8:00PM. They are learning new contemporary music to introduce that keeps worship fresh and innovative. We are and continue to be grateful for their inspirational leadership! If you are interested in joining the team contact John Ivan at [email protected] or 262-620-2349 for details.

Early Service Choral Ensemble Rehearsals, Wednesdays, 8:00PM

The early service choral ensemble meets Wednesdays at 8:00 p.m. Kathy and I are also available after the first service to help rehearse any small ensembles or soloists interested in presenting their gifts during the early service. Thanks - Amberleigh

Bells of Immanuel: Rehearse Sundays, 9:15-10:15 AM

The Bells rehearse Sundays, 9:15-10:15 a.m. in the music room! Director Ellen Hanson will show you how to ring, no musical training is necessary. If you can't commit to every Sunday, talk to Ellen about being a bell substitute ringer! Contact Ellen Hanson if you are interested or just show up for rehearsal. She can be reached at: [email protected] or 262.210.1001

Media Specialists

The media team utilizes modern technology during every worship service. Positions include running the computer, managing the sound board, and operating live video. We are continually inviting newcomers to learn the new system. If you are techy and interested in contributing your skills contact John Ivan at [email protected] so he can inform you of the upcoming training sessions.

Hymnals

Please help yourself to a hymnal at the entrance of the worship space if you like to follow the music for hymns. Hymnals are also available at each church entrance which can be taken home.

Coffee Hour

Beverages are available following the first service at the Welcome Center Counter in the Gathering Space. Help yourself to information about Immanuel on the counter. Our Coffee Hour follows the first service in the Fellowship Hall to the left of the worship space. Join us for treats, beverages, and conversation. It's a great way to meet new friends, and to share in fellowship with others. All are welcome!! Many thanks to those who help serve for these two ministries. If you are interested in helping, we need you!! Sign up on the Worship Card. Thanks!

Parking on Sundays and Special Services

Able bodied members are encouraged to park in the outer parking stalls or the Middle School Lot when they can, so visitors and seniors can be closer to the entrances. Many Thanks! It's a wonderful challenge to already be short on parking spaces! Praise God, who gives the growth!!
