Thanks

+ Thank you to Joyce Schmidt for your donation of colored paper to Immanuel. We can always use paper.

+ Thanks to Joelle Dahlgren for playing three wonderful piano solos, "Ode to Joy", "Blues Scales", and "Got Lotsa Rhythm" on June 16th for Father's Day! What a thrill and treat to have Jeolle play! Her young talent is superb! Thanks for sharing; we look forward to being blessed by her music again. Watch here: http://youtu.be/VCTzLTStqUQ

+ Thanks to Dan Schmidt for tenderly singing, "I Am Your Child" as a tribute on Father's Day! The song's text perfectly honored our fathers, grandpas, and all the men that have touched our lives. His sensitive singing was exquisite; it was poignant and expressive-a wonderful tribute to our heavenly Father as well! Watch here: http://youtu.be/iCXYbaqtgZ4

+ Special thanks to Keith and Pam Addison, and Terry and Carol Madsen for sharing their lovely voices and musical talent! They sang a vocal quartet, "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", on June 9th at all three services. The unique arrangement of this favorite classic hymn created a contemporary feel while still embracing classic tradition. Watch here: http://youtu.be/Tierm4qoFUM

+ Thanks to Cherub Grace (friend of Riely Mikrut and Elliot Huemann) who sang and played the piano for the Healing Services on June 2nd. She is a gifted young lady and we are thrilled that she was able to share her talents at Immanuel while on her summer leave.

+ Better late than never. "The Cross" was sung by the Praise Team as a tribute to our Lord, Jesus on Good Friday! Together with the drama, the Praise Team tenderly closed this poignant tenebrae service with this powerful song. We are so blessed by the Praise Team year-round, and especially blessed by their occasional special music! See video with pictures of drama here: http://youtu.be/EIoM4keqrdQ

+ We would like to give our sincere thanks to Rich McWherter, and the crew he brought on May 18th to paint our garage door!  Really an incredible job done by him and Rich and Trey Howes and Anthony Warnecke!!!  We were pleased to give a check to help them on their way for the Mission Trip to help others after Hurricane Sandy!!! Rich McWherter has been a "Saint" in all his efforts to help fund the Mission Trip! Joe and Sandy Anselmo

+ Dear Friends and Family of Immanuel, thank you for supporting my Eagle Scout Project of a Share Library the W.C. Food Pantry. So many of you donated to my Goats Milk Soap Fundraiser. The money raised was used to buy lumber and supplies for bookshelves and storage. The Book Drive was amazing....hundreds of books were donated. Fellow scouts, friends and family sorted and shelved the books. Maggie Guske served as our Librarian consultant. Mr. and Mrs. Drescher have been wonderful to work with. I will continue to collect books for the Share Library. Children's books, cookbooks and self-help books can be dropped off in the box outside of the church office. Thank you! Clay Wahlstedt, Eagle Scout Candidate, Troop 239

+ Thank you for your kindness - for showing that you care. The baptism of our great granddaughter was so very special to all of us. God's Blessings,

Our Love, Dean and Odella Nelson

+ Thank you all! We loved the song written by Pastor Mary Ann and sung by the first service. I plan to frame a copy. The cake was delicious and the very generous gift cards will really come in handy when we travel to Kansas next month. We truly enjoyed this wonderful surprise. Karen and Hawk

+ Nick and I would like to thank the cookie ministry for the delicious treats that were left at our house for us. They really brightened our day. It was so thoughtful, and we really appreciate the kindness! Thank you so much again! Betsy and Nick Moehling
