Don't be Grimm! The Halloween Party is coming! This year our children will venture through the often spooky world of the Brothers Grimm.  They can brave the Haunted Woods, grab at bite at our Oktoberfest Garden, have their fortunes told at the Enchanted Mirror, get creative at the Arts & Crafts tables, and much more!!

Calling all volunteers!  The Halloween Party is a great chance to meet other parents while creating a fantastic event for our children.

The Islanders have found their permanent home in Brooklyn. Come help us show them some Brooklyn love when they take on the Boston Bruins.

Please join the Berkeley Carroll Diversity Committee on  Tuesday, October 6th, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. till 8:30 p.m.  We will discuss various subjects and explore ideas, to set the committee agenda for the upcoming school year.
 
Please come out.  We would love to hear from you as we move forward with this wonderful committee and this tremendous community of parents and students, of which we serve.

Side-By-Side (SbS) is a PA committee which coordinates parent-initiated activities that engage adults and kids outside of our school community to effect positive social change.
book_drive
Public Library  Book Drive 
Book Collection Oct. 5th - 16th
 
Side by Side will be conducting a school-wide book drive to benefit the Brooklyn Public Library.  Families are being asked to donate new/lightly used books for all ages.

Collection boxes will be at Berkeley Carroll Building Entrances on Carroll St., Lincoln Pl. and at the Athletic Center until Friday, October 16th.

Book Fair Volunteers Needed at the Library
Saturday, October 17th

The Brooklyn Public Library is looking for 5-7 adult and teen volunteers to help sort books, participate in children's arts and crafts activities, and assist patrons.

The highest need is for sorting of the books between 9:00 AM-12:00 PM or 12:00 PM-3:00 PM. 

Hours can be flexible. Community service credits for US students.
