The circus is coming and everyone's invited...again! The BCSPA had such a great turnout for Frozen on Ice and The Harlem Globetrotters at the Barclay's Center, The Sound of Music and the Nutcracker at BAM. When: Saturday at 3pm. February 21st
Who: All BC community members are welcome. (Parents/caregivers must be present to chaperone minors.)

The Berkeley Carroll Green Coalition and the BC Film Series present:
The Emmy Award winning
The Years of Living Dangerously: The Preacher's Daughter
Staring Ian Sommerhalder
Produced by BC parent Jesse Sweet
Tuesday, January 20th at 7pm
The Performance Space at 181 Lincoln Place
Drinks and snacks served. A discussion with the filmmaker AND the preacher's daughter will follow the one hour film.
The father: a megachurch preacher who doesn't believe in climate change. The daughter: an activist trying to shut down the local coal-fired power plant. The daughter's hope: to eventually convince her father that global warming is happening, and even, just possibly, see if he'll make it the topic of his next sermon.
In Preacher's Daughter, Correspondent Ian Somerhalder listens in on both sides of the evangelical community's debate over climate change.
Immediately following the one hour film Jesse Sweet and Anna Jane, the preacher's daughter, will discuss the filming process, her experiences as an activist, and the intersection of religion and environmentalism.
