It is the third Saturday of the month which means it is barbecue day at Monadnock Aviation! Please join us at noon for burgers, hot dogs, and hangar flying.
Congratulations Pierre
Congratulations to Pierre Colin for his first solo flight. Pierre has trained with CFI Denny Caldwell in our Piper Warriors. He is a terrific flight student who has also recently passed the written exam with flying colors! We are proud of Pierre and his accomplishments and look forward to him earning his pilot certificate.
Safety Seminar - Spins
Please join Monadnock Aviation and guest speaker Wes Liu this Saturday, August 20th, at 1:00PM for a seminar titled "Expanding Your Personal Flight Envelope - Spins". The seminar will take place immediately following our monthly barbecue and is free.

EAA Chapter Meeting
Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 1314 has changed this month's meeting date. They will meet on Thursday, August 25th, at 6:30PM in the terminal. They are up to their elbows in planning the upcoming annual Sonex fly-in (which will happen September 10th)!
AAC Meeting Friday
Keene's Airport Advisory Commission (AAC) will meet Friday (August 19th). This is a public meeting and all are welcome to attend. The meeting is scheduled for 8:30AM in the terminal.
Summer storms have been fast and furious lately. Please let us know if you need a hangar to tuck into for short term storage. We have space available!
