Congrats Bryan!
 
Congratulations to Bryan Bastian for his first solo flight!  Bryan is a fine young man who trains with CFI Gene Moody.  He's working toward a career in aviation; you're sure to hear his voice over the airline speaker one of these days.  Great job Bryan!
 
Student Pilot Social

Our December Student Pilot Social was a big hit, thanks in large part to the work of "The Newest Pilot in Keene" Rick Horton.  It was a terrific and informal opportunity for student pilots to meet other student pilots, new pilots, and CFIs. There were questions asked, stories told, and pizza eaten.  Thank you to all who attended!  
Instrument Ground School              

Instrument Ground School starts next month. The class will commence on January 21st at 6:00PM at Monadnock Aviation. It will meet Thursday evenings for about two hours and is being taught by CFIs David Dezendorf and Denny Caldwell.  The cost is $250. Please email me if you'd like more information or to be added to the roster.

Manchester Tower Tour 
                          

Monadnock Aviation has arranged for tours of the Manchester and Nashua Air Traffic Control Towers on Saturday, January 23rd.  We will tour the KMHT tower at 10:00AM and then make our way south to KASH for a 1:00PM tour.  There is one seat left on the roster, so please let me know if you're interested.

Seeking Interim Airport Director   

The City of Keene is seeking a part time, interim Airport Director.  Click here for details on the position and application information from the City of Keene website.                         
AAC Meeting Friday                             

                              

Keene's Airport Advisory Commission will meet Friday (December 18).  This is a public meeting and all are welcome to attend.  The meeting is at 8:30AM in the terminal lobby. 

Toys for Tots

Monadnock Aviation is hosting a Toys for Tots drop location through Christmas.  Please pick up a little extra for kids who need a helping hand. Suggested donations include games, sports equipment and balls, stuffed animals, dolls, and of course toy AIRPLANES!!! Donations should be new and not gift wrapped.
